Merkatis scans the websites its clients entrust to it. The scan is requested by the website owner or by their service provider, on a scope they have declared themselves.
What it does
The scan is external: it only reads what the website publishes, without installing anything on the website and without requesting any access to it. It only takes place at the request of the user who entrusted the website to Merkatis, for a one-off scan or for regular monitoring. It records the versions of publicly declared components, checks the certificate and the security headers, and verifies that the website responds. It does not fill in any form, does not log in to any private area, and does not modify anything.
Request the exclusion of your domain
You can request that your domain no longer be scanned. The request is free, requires no account, and needs no justification.
What happens next: the request is recorded and the domain stops being scanned as soon as it is recorded. You receive an acknowledgment of receipt at the address provided. If the domain belongs to a subscriber to our service, we will contact you again before any final decision: the exclusion would cut off a service that someone has subscribed to. In all other cases, the exclusion is final and the domain can no longer be scanned, either by a subscriber or from the public audit page.
